Toronto Zombie Walk 2012

via

I'm a fair bit behind on posting about this, but after over 3 years of living in this city I finally made it to Zombie Walk, and it was awesome. I hadn't really planned on doing much more than my makeup, but the night before I decided to just go all out and do a full getup. This involved trying to create the colour of dried blood out of my next-to-non-existent paint supply, rolling around in the mud in my backyard, and gluing leaves to my jacket. The end result wasn't necessarily that great, but considering it's unplanned nature and the mere hour I spent on it, I think it was okay.

Lauren, Dan, and I got ourselves ready at my house and headed downtown for the awesomeness that was the day. Once we got down there, we upped the amount of blood dripping from our faces (and did so periodically throughout the journey as well). If you're as yet unaware, that Jug O' Blood stuff tastes bloody awful and numbs your mouth for a few minutes.

There were some pretty amazing makeups and costumes to be seen, and I'm definitely going full on crazy with it next year, provided (of course) that I actually remember to prepare ahead of time. Anyway, here's some of the pictures I got!

The Teletubbies were probably my favourite. :P

  1. Looks awesome! There is a zombie walk along the beach in my town. Fittingly called Beach of the Dead. I missed it this year, but I am definitely going next year.
