New Portfolio Site Layout

I spent last night doing all the main-page mockups for the new layout I'm working on for my portfolio site. The old one was just so plain and there wasn't much variety in the work I was displaying. Plus it had already been a couple months of having the same layout. Doesn't show much creativity if you stick with the same, boring old site for an extended period of time, especially since I'm trying to weasel my way into the fashion industry. Must always be reinventing! Eventually I'm going to add a graphic/web design section to it and just show all my past layouts. Heh.

Anywho, here's what I did for the mockups!

I've already coded a few pages so far and, naturally, run into a few snags where it's not going to be exactly the way I wanted it to be, but it's damn close enough! I think I find too much pleasure in the process of coding, especially since I've never bothered to learn anything more than basic HTML/CSS so it tends to be quite time consuming, and one small error can result in hours of extra work. Oh well!

What do you guys think of it? Feedback is greatly appreciated! If you click here you can see all the images at a bigger size. :)
